Macau ------ Your Way to An Experience of A Lifetime!

Hello Travel Lovers! ٩(⸝⸝⸝◕ั ௰ ◕ั⸝⸝⸝ )
Yes I am here ! ( hands up !)
Wee, I am really excited and jumping until I reach the sky after I was opened +NuffnangMY website.
Well this is a really excited news I want to share with you guys.
+NuffnangMY is giving us the 3 luckiest bloggers to win a trip to Macau.
It's been awhile I don't go for a trip after my Yogyakarta tour.

I do always enjoy to visit another country because I can learn a lot about their communities and their culture. Oh well actually this is just my dream but I am hoping my dream will COME TRUE.
I do always wanted to visit the Taiwan. This should be my first time I step my foot on the China country.

So let's get to know the Awesomeness  in Macau.

Macau  also spelled Macao, is one of the two Special Administrative Regions of the People's Republic of China, the other being Hong Kong. Macau lies on the western side of the Pearl River Delta across from Hong Kong, which is about 64 kilometers to the east, and it is also bordered by Guangdong Province to the north and the South China Sea to the east and south. With an estimated population of around 624,000 living in an area of 31.3 km2 (12.1 sq mi), it is the most densely populated region in the world.

Stole from Nuffnang's site, the egg tarts making my mouth watering also. just look at the picture, Weird I can smell the aroma from here.

Macau's official language are : Chinese & Portuguese.
Their spoken languanges including Cantonese, Mandarin, Portuguese and Macanese.
Their writing system such as Traditional Chinese characters, Simplified Chinese Characters and also Latin Alphabet.

Most popular of the ethnic groups covering the  95.0% Han Chinese, 2.0% Portuguese and 3.0% others. The demonym mostly are macanese people.

Every country + every state must have Government, so let's get to know a bit about Macau's Government the special administrative region.
Macau's Chief executive is Fernando Chui. The administration and justice secretary is Florinda Chan.
The court President is Sam Hou Fai. And lastly not least, the Assembly President is Ho Lat Seng.
Macau's Legislature is more to Legislative Assembly.

Macau's Climate
Macau has a humid subtropical climate (Köppen Cwa), with average relative humidity between 75% and 90%. Similar to much of South China, seasonal climate is greatly influenced by the monsoons, and differences in temperature and humidity between summer and winter are noticeable, though not as great as inland China. The average annual temperature of Macau is 22.7 °C (72.9 °F). July is the warmest month, with the average temperature being 28.9 °C (84.0 °F). The coolest month is January, with a mean temperature of 14.5 °C (58.1 °F). Located on China's southern coast, Macau has ample rainfall, with average annual precipitation being 2,120 millimetres (83 in). However, winter is mostly dry due to the influence of the vast Siberian High affecting much of East Asia. Autumn in Macau, from October to November, is sunny and still pleasantly warm with lower humidity. Winter (December to early March) is generally mild with temperatures above 13 °C (55 °F) most of the time, although it can drop below 8 °C (46 °F) at times. Humidity starts to increase from late March. Summer is very warm to hot (often rising above 30 °C (86 °F) at daytime). The hot weather is often followed by heavy rain, thunderstorms and occasional typhoons.

All of the above mentioned I studied from the Wikipedia About the Macau, I just studied a bit about it, If you want to know more you can visit the Macau's Wikipedia.

There are just so many places you can visit in Macau like Nuffnang suggested in their blog posted.

Bungee Jumping Off the Macau Tower
Being adrenaline junkies who can’t step down from a challenge. Bungee jumping off the Macau Tower is definitely on our bucket list (*hints bosses for upcoming company trip). We can only imagine what a thrilling experience it must be as the tower still holds record for “The World’s Highest Bungee Jump Facility”!

UNESCO Heritage Spots & Cultural Experience
In 2005, the Historic Centre of Macau was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, making it the 31st designated World Heritage site in China. These places must be worth visiting as it is listed in the UNESCO list.

So, I cannot wait to tell you guys which places in Macau I want to visit, if me ? I wanna visit the whole Macau but I have to choose 3 of them that I found could be the interesting places to visit !

Venetian Macau
I know this is a very famous gambling places, but I wanna go there not because I want to go for gamble, but I personally interested with the luxury high class building. It is kind a 2nd place of Las Vegas and owned by the Las Vegas Sands. The Venetian is a 39-story,$2.4 billion anchor for the seven hotels on the Cotai Strip in Macau. The 10,500,000-square-foot (980,000 m2) Venetian Macao is modeled on its sister casino resort The Venetian Las Vegas, and is the seventh-largest building in the world by floor area. The Venetian Macao is the largest casino in the world, and the largest single structure hotel building in Asia.

Senado Square
Women and shopping cannot be SPLIT !
SHOP INEXPENSIVELY AROUND SENADO SQUARE
I think this is a compulsory place everyone should visit while you are at Macau, I hope I am the one !

Take a stroll down the historic Senado Square to cool your shopping appetite where you can discover inexpensive Macanese-made clothes, T-shirts, jeans and sportswear in markets around the area. Those interested in vintage items have a treat waiting for them in the former red-light district a few streets away. For those who wish to splurge excessively, it is never a bad idea to check out a myriad range of international luxury brands at Macau’s vivacious hotels. Credited to : Travel+Leisure

Ruins Of St Paul
Every places must have their own stories, so I decided choose the Ruins of St Paul as an interesting place I should visit if I get the opportunity to so.

The Ruins of St. Paul'srefers to the ruins of a 16th-century complex in Macau including of what was originally St. Paul's College and the Cathedral of St. Paul also known as "Mater Dei", a 17th-century Portuguese cathedral dedicated to Saint Paul the Apostle. Today, the ruins are one of Macau's best known landmarks. In 2005, they were officially listed as part of the Historic Centre of Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built from 1582 to 1602 by the Jesuits, the cathedral was one of the largest Catholic churches in Asia at the time, and the royalty of Europe vied with each other to bestow upon the cathedral the best gifts. With the decline in importance of Macau, which was overtaken as the main port for the Pearl River Delta by Hong Kong, the cathedral's fortunes similarly ebbed, and it was destroyed by a fire during a typhoon on the 26 January 1835. The Fortaleza do Monte overlooks the ruin. Credited to : Ruins of St. Paul's wikipedia

When I take a look again the Ruins of St Paul, I suddenly remembering the Malacca state in Malaysia. Because Portuguese people did visit us a long time ago and leaves their marks on Malaysia's land.

THE REASONS WHY NUFFNANG & MY MACAU should pick me to visit MACAU because
