The taste buds of Malaysian Foodies were tantalized by 14 Malaysian Chefs.

Hello everyone, remember on the last Tuesday on May 26th I've attended the US Culinary Festival in Sheraton Imperial Hotel, Kuala Lumpur where I've tasted several potatoes taste and based. Now I missed those delicious taste again !

High successful run for two years ago, now the event once again held the second time in Malaysia that offered the bi-annual culinary fest up to a month long smorgasbord of dining delights for both of potato aficionados and spud-curious.

French Fries ? Mashed Potatoes ? Now not anymore where all the potatoes have been upgraded to all new heights of taste and glamor culinary by the 14 Malaysian taste ! Unlimited version style of potatoes now we can have to tantalize our taste buds. I heard that in the US Potato Culinary Festival Kuala Lumpur 2015 has brought the world's favorite comfort to us especially with the potatoes.

13 top dining venues around the Klang Valley, the US potato Culinary Festival will run from 1-30 June 2015 organized by the US potato board. A mouthwatering assortment of unique and fusion dishes that elevate the versatility will feature including the nutritional benefits and superior taste of quality US potatoes.

I heard that the restaurants will participate in this year which including the most popular hotels and restaurants such as:

The 14 Malaysian Chefs in the part of the US Potato Culinary Festival.

When I was in the festival, I've tasted several truly creative variations of potato frittatas, potato mash-ups and even potato ice cream were versatile by the chefs with the US potatoes. Some of the taste you will feel like you are flying on the sky and not all the taste can fit in my tummy. I'm glad that there was a coconut shake with potatoes. Too bad I didn't manage to take the picture of it, I'm pretty sure all of you will like the taste with the vanilla spur.

Each of the chefs from the respective restaurants have been tasked by inventing the most delectable and unique recipes by using the quality US potatoes and they will serve their ideas in the culinary with those wonderful potato dishes at their own outlets around the Klang Valley.

US potato contains just 110 calories per serving, more potassium (620g) than a banana, provides almost half the daily value of vitamin C ( 45%) and contains no fat, sodium or cholesterol.

Trust me I am huge fan when it comes to potatoes. As a Malaysian that always consuming potatoes like everyday in Malaysian food, sorry but I wanna paste in my blog such as "begedil, tempe dan kentang masak pedas, karipap kari, sup kentang" and there are so many style we can do with potatoes. A healthy, balanced meal can be just as tasteful with Potatoes. You can either baked, mashed, roasted or fried with the US potatoes. And I heard that the American College of Nutrition that they has done the research -people can eat potatoes and still lose weight - Now I am hoping for it!

Apologies for my bad excuse that I am always hoping for Non-GMO or organic produced from the US because now there are so many food with genetically modified. The US agriculture methods may sometimes come at slightly premium price as a reason in producing the better quality, taste, versatilty and nutritional value that we have been looking for ages.

Malaysian who like to experience the difference in quality US potatoes can find these tuber gems in all leading supermarkets and hypermarkets in Malaysia. With the quality and superior taste of US potatoes have lead the restaurants and QSR chains in serving their culinary style.
